Medical Assisting
In recent years the medical assisting profession has become indispensable to the health care industry. Not only have physicians become more reliant on medical assistants, but their services are also being requested by hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and diagnostic laboratories, as well as medical supply businesses, home health agencies, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies. Medical assistants have become an important part of the health care team and their responsibilities continue to expand as the need for their services grows.

Programs Upon Completion of the Associates Degree, the Graduate is Eligible to Sit for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Examination Given by the American Association of Medical Assistants.
